  10. I installed Apple Remote Access on my home computer and am unable to connect. 
  11. The message reads "the connection attempt failed, the modem cannot acquire a 
  12. dial tone." I am using a 14.4 Magnum-Fax modem. I am told by our campus 
  13. support group that this modem is not a campus- supported modem and that we do 
  14. not have a driver (script) for it. Collegues tell me this recommendation is 
  15. odd, and that I shouldn't be having this problem.  I have yet to call the 
  16. manufacturers of the modem. I welcome any comments and information! Please
